Refreshed Azzurri with a couple of new faces in their team had no problems against injury-depleted Uruguay in Wednesday’s international friendly at Allianz Riviera.
Italy opened the scoring thanks to a wonderful own-goal by Uruguay defender Jose Gimenez, who struck the ball into his own net spectacularly, much to surprise of goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.
