Mexico came from behind to secure a vital victory against New Zealand in Confederations Cup, but the match was marred by injury-time incident when a mass brawl ensued.

Unable to solve the situation himself, referee Bakary Gassama turned to the Video Assistanr Referees to sort it all out and avoid any mistakes.

However, this turned out to be less than an effective operation as Gassama was forced to go back to VAR on more than one occasion.

This new system still needs more refining it appears.
