Kaizer Chiefs suffered a home defeat at the hands of Polokwane City at the weekend.

The South African heavyweights are stuck in third place in the standings after 10 rounds of action with Polokwane City now clawing up to sixth – level on points with Chiefs but with two games in hand.

Polokwane City achieved the important victory courtesy of Vusimuzi Mngomezulu who scored a long-range screamer after a brilliant build-up.

It was a Coutinho-styled goal, a first-time shot which flew straight into the back of the net of a helpless goalie.
