VIDEO: What did Leo Messi eat out of his sock during Olympiakos game?

Ten minutes into the Champions League clash between Barcelona and Olympiakos the Argentine wizard Leo Messi caused plenty of attention when it appeared he took something out of his sock and put it in his mouth.

The internet reacted overwhelmingly to this scene as Leo Messi went on to score his 100^th goal in all UEFA competitions in a 3-1 win at Camp Nou.

According to reports in Spain, Messi was eating a glucose tablet to get an energy boost.
