Michael Haeupl, ViennaÂ’s mayor has said that he will not be tolerating any attempts by football hooligans to disrupt Euro 2008.
Speaking in Vienna, AustriaÂ’s capital city, he added that the hooligans had better think twice before they entertained any thoughts of disrupting the event.
Both Austria and Switzerland are hosting the event and they have reassured the true supporters that thousands of police will be on duty during the three – week event.
Thousands of fans from across Europe are expected to attend the championships. The final is set for Vienna.
