Villa boss Bruce eager to get Bolasie deal done

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that he’s eager to get Yannick Bolasie’s proposed move to Aston Villa over the line in the next 48 hours so. The boss stated that they’re working hard behind the scenes in order to finalise the move, as the 29-year-old prepares to leave Goodison Park in order to try and rediscover the form that put him on the map with Crystal Palace.

Bolasie hasn’t quite been able to have the desired effect that he would’ve intended upon moving to Everton back in 2016, and it seems as if a switch back down to the Championship could be the best thing for him. The winger is more than capable of being the best player on the pitch in any game he plays in regardless of the division, but that only usually occurs when he’s on the top of his game – which has been more of a rarity as of late.
