La Liga leaders Villarreal are considering a January move for Valencia winger Rodrigo Javier De Paul, according to Superdeporte.
The Argentine footballer had a bright start to his career at Mestalla, but no longer appears to be close to starting positions.
Villarreal coach Marcelino Garcia Toral is a big fan of the 21-year-old footballer and he will attempt to lure him to El Madrigal in the winter transfer window.
In spite of the difficult status at the club, De Paul is reportedly ready to fight for his place in Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad, but if his situation remains the same, there is a possibility that he would consider joining the Yellow Submarine.
Rodrigo De Paul arrived to Valencia last summer from Racing de Avellaneda, and went on to make 25 La Liga appearances during his first season.
The winger started two league matches this term, while making another two substitute outings.
