Villarreal say Giuseppe Rossi is not for sale

Villarreal have moved to deny speculations that striker Giuseppe Rossi is set for a summer move to Juventus.

The Bianconeri have already tried to sign the Italy international and they are now ready to reignite their interest.

However, Villarreal general director Jose Manuel Llaneza reveals that Rossi will stay put.

“We have no intention of letting Rossi go,” Jose Manuel Llaneza told TMW.

“We’re very happy with what the player is doing this season, but his excellent form is not a surprise to us.

“A move to Juventus? There is nothing being discussed with anyone. Giuseppe is staying with us at Villarreal.”
