Villarreal star unlikely to return to Italy

Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi’s agent has admitted that it is unlikely that his client will be returning to the Serie A.

The 23-year-old has long been linked with a return to Italy and clubs such as Juventus and Inter Milan are keeping tabs on the striker’s situation in Spain.

“We are currently working on a contract renewal with Villarreal,” Rossi’s agent Silvio Pastorello revealed to Radio Sei.

“His return to Italy will be difficult unless one of the big Italian sides are prepared to spend the money for one of the best Italian players.”
