Vinicius to leave Real Madrid?

According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid are gearing up to sell Vinicius Junior during the summer transfer window.

The youngster has only been able to find the back of the net three times in 25 appearances so far this season, seemingly indicating that he isn’t quite ready to carry the torch for Real up top.

At the age of just 20 it’s somewhat ridiculous to write him off altogether, because as we know, young players still have a lot of learning and developing to do before they reach their prime – and Vinicius quite clearly isn’t there yet.

The man management skills of Zinedine Zidane certainly need to be called into question here, because as is the case with the majority of youngsters or hot prospects that he brings into the club, Vinicius hasn’t set the world on fire as many believe he should.

For now, all he can do is wait for an opportunity to try and shine elsewhere.
