Vlasic set for Everton departure

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Everton winger Nikola Vlasic is set to join CSKA Moscow for a fee of around £14 million. The Croatian star has been on loan with the club as of late, with the deal (believed to be a five year) being finalised later on today. Vlasic just wasn’t really able to get his foot in the door at Goodison Park in the kind of manner that he would’ve hoped, with Everton finding more value in some of their other high profile stars. Either way, though, it feels like a move to CSKA is going to be the best way forward right now.

The Premier League is as competitive as it has ever been, but that doesn’t mean Vlasic doesn’t have a future there. If he can continue to impress over in Russia and build an even bigger name for himself, then who knows what the future holds.
