Vucinic’s agent denies Arsenal talks

Mirko Vucinic’s agent has rejected reports that Premier League side Arsenal have made a €20million bid for the forward.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from Roma, despite extending his contract until 2013 last month.

“There has been no contact with Arsenal, it’s just paper talk,” agent Alessandro Lucci told Romanews.eu.

“Vucinic has lots of suitors in England, but there is nothing official at the moment. Manchester United, Tottenham [Hotspur] and Arsenal have all been mentioned, but there is nothing concrete.

“We have not received any offers from Arsenal. Wenger holds Vucinic in high esteem, but nothing concrete has come up.”
