Roma forward Mirko Vucinic is confident that they are a better side than Rome rivals Lazio.
The two teams will face each other in the Serie A on Sunday.
“The derby is always a special game, especially here in Rome,” Vucinic told Il Tempo.
“I would love to score, but it won’t be easy against this in-form Lazio outfit.
“Even though they are playing well, we know that we are stronger than them and we want to show that on Sunday.
“I think we can secure second place in Serie A this season and beating Lazio can signal the turning point – we are aiming for Champions League qualification at least.”
Their meeting last season ended in a 3-2 win to Roma.
