Walcott has a number of clubs after him

A report from the Sunday Mirror suggests that should Theo Walcott not sign a new deal at Arsenal, Juventus, Inter Milan and Paris St Germain will join the race to secure his services along with Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Englishman was rumoured to be leaving the Emirates Stadium a number of times during the transfer window but he remained an Arsenal player.

Talks over his contract, which runs out next year seem to have stalled recently – putting doubts over the winger’s future.

The Gunners are set to do all they can to resolve the issue and keep Walcott in North London for the foreseeable future.

However, it is likely that in January when the window opens again they will face another battle to keep him at the club.

English Premier League sides Liverpool and Manchester City are keen on signing Walcott and looked to be fighting it out for much of the summer.

Now though, these other European giants are all keeping tabs on the England international and he could be heading abroad.

With just one year left on his contract, Arsenal will be wary of the face that one of their prized assets could leave on a free next summer.
