Defender Walter Samuel has extended his contract with Inter Milan. The Argentinian will stay at the Italian champions until 2012.
Samuel has been struggling with a knee injury and only made seventeen appearances for the Nerazzurri this season, of which five in the Champions League.
The thirty-year-old, who also played for AS Roma and Real Madrid, isn’t the only player to extend his stay with Internazionale this week.
Paolo Orlandoni, currently third goalkeeper in Milan, added another year to his contract.
Orlandoni is a true Inter player, having risen through the ranks from 1991. The 35 year old keeper played two matches this season.
