Wanyama not returning to Celtic

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama’s rumoured move to Celtic is believed to be a non-starter. Wanyama would be returning to the club that helped put him on the map back in the day, and would be doing so after a frustrating few months for him in North London.

While Wanyama was once considered to be a featured member of Spurs’ first team squad, he no longer appears to have that kind of an appeal.

It certainly seems like Celtic have put everything into trying to get this over the finish line, especially given some of the challenges they have coming up both domestically and in European competition.

Spurs, on the other hand, will have to decide how serious they are about the possibility of him leaving and whether or not they want to give him another few months to impress them.
