Warnock believes QPR can sign Beckham

QPR boss Neil Warnock believes club’s ambitions owners have a real chance of signing David Beckham.

Rangers owner Tony Fernandes hinted at a move for Beckham via his Twitter account yesterday and Nigel Warnock believes the transfer can come into fruition.

“About three weeks ago I would not have dreamed to sign Joey Barton so I will never write anything off,” Warnock was quoted as saying by Daily Telegraph.

“The chairman Tony Fernandes has got such – why accept the average when you can reach for the top? That is how he is.

“It came out of the blue. I think anything is possible. He is a very astute businessman.”
