Liverpool midfielder Wataru Endo is willing to leave the club in the January transfer window, according to CaughtOffSide. Endo is struggling for playing time at the moment and is open to finding a new club in the middle of the campaign.
CaughtOffside has reported that Serie A giants AC Milan are keen on Endo and believe that “his skills will add significant value to their squad”. Liverpool themselves are open to letting the Japan international defensive midfielder leave for €15-18 million.
Endo has been on the books of Liverpool since the summer of 2023 when he joined from German club VfB Stuttgart. The 31-year-old Japan international defensive midfielder made 20 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League under then manager Jurgen Klopp last season, but he has played only 19 minutes in the league and just one minute in the UEFA Champions League under current boss Arne Slot for the Reds so far this campaign.
