Watford 4/6 to beat Swansea in Saturday’s Premier League clash

Competition: Premier League

Market: Watford to beat Swansea

Odds: 4/6 @ Bet365

The final matchweek of 2017 is here and each and every team will want to end the year with a big victory. The festive period has been massively hectic as usual, and there are some teams that will be disappointed to see the back of December, while others will be hoping that a new year can bring vastly improved fortunes with it. With this in mind, Watford host Swansea on Saturday.

Watford have been struggling lately and they are in need of a number of positive results to push on from their current position. After 20 games they have collected 25 points from seven wins and four draws. While this is a fairly good return, they could have taken even more points, but a very poor run of form has seen them stagnating in midtable, while they have taken just three points from their last five games. The nine-point buffer between themselves and the relegation zone is a strong one, but another poor run could see them dragged into a battle for survival this season.

Swansea are in big trouble going into the new year and they need to turn things around quickly. After 20 games they have won three times, drawn four games and lost 13 matches, while they have scored just 11 goals and conceded 31 times. The 13 points they have collected means they are five points short of safety, and with Paul Clement sacked, they look like they may be heading for the Championship next season. With all of this in mind, we are backing Watford with odds of 4/6 from Bet365.
