Watford 9/5 to beat Newcastle in Saturdays Premier League matchup

Competition: Premier League

Market: Watford win

Odds: 9/5 @ Bet 365

Two sides enduring very different starts to the new campaign, Watford will be hoping to once again jump back into the top four when they face a struggling Newcastle side on Saturday.

Starting with Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle side, while the Magpies may have managed to secure a top-half finish last season, things could not have gone any worse for them at the start of the new year. Coming off the back of yet another lacklustre showing in their 0-0 draw with Southampton last weekend, Newcastle, along with Huddersfield are the only sides still looking for their first win. Already at the heart of a relegation battle and scoring just two top-flight goals since September 15th, the Magpies have also lost all of their home matches so far this season.

As for the visitors, enjoying their first full season under Javi Garcia, things could not be going any better for Watford. With a win on Saturday potentially jumping them into the Champions League positions, the Hornets are coming off the back of a pair of very impressive victories. Becoming the first team to beat Wolves at Molineux last month, the Yellows also put three past Huddersfield last weekend. One man to watch for the visitors will be Argentina international Roberto Pereyra. Now Watford’s leading goalscorer, the 27-year-old has now found the net in both of Watford’s last two victories.
