Premier League outfit Watford have reached an agreement with Benfica to sign Peruvian winger Andre Carrillo, according to O Jogo.
The Hornets will pay €1 million for a season-long loan and cover the player’s €4 million gross salary, while a €20 million purchase option will be included as well.
After having their proposal accepted, Carrillo has traveled to England, where he will undergo a medical and sign a contract.
The 26-year-old joined Benfica last summer, arriving on a free transfer from rivals Sporting CP, but he only started three league fixtures during his first season.
Carrillo now gets a chance to test his skills in English Premier League and attempt to help Watford build on the promising start to the season.
After taking four points from the opening two games, the Hornets can be backed at 3/1 to achieve a top table finish.
