Watford have been in a very difficult situation recently, but they are trying to find ways to resolve their issues. One of them was to constantly change managers until they find the right fit and now it could be signing players from clubs obviously bigger of them, in order to improve the squad ahead of the crucial part of the campaign.
Watford look set to battle Napoli for AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez next month, according to Il Mattino. The same source is reporting that the left-back and Swiss international, has caught the eye of the Hornets and that they want to sign him in the upcoming January transfer window. However, in order to get him they will have some stern competition, as Napoli are also interested to secure the 27-year-old’s signature.
The club from Vicarage changed their managers several times since the start of the season and it looks like Nigel Pearson is doing some things that have improved results. Now, they need to also improve the squad.
