Premier League side Watford have reportedly approached Dinamo Zagreb over a possible January transfer of the young Croatian shot stopper Adrian Semper.
According to reports emerging from the Croatian media outlet 24 Sata, the 19-year-old goalkeeper currently playing on loan at Lokomotiva Zagreb is the subject of a €4 million bid which looks set to become the biggest transfer fee for a goalkeeper in the history on the Croatian league HNL.
Semper is enjoying a rather successful spell with Lokomotiva Zagreb where he conceded 54 goals in 53 matches. The young shot-stopper, however, managed to keep a clean sheet in 22 of those matches which is a good enough indicator of his quality and talent.
His impressive showings in the Croatian league have gained plenty of interest from the English top flight but Watford appear to be leading the race for the talented custodian.
Hornets return to action on Sunday 19 November with a home clash against struggling West Ham.
Watford are given 15/13 betting odds to beat Hammers.
