Premier League outfit Watford are set to complete the signing of AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Hornets have agreed to pay €1 million for a six-month loan, while a €16 million buy-out option will be included in the deal as well.
All that’s left is for Niang to accept a move to Vicarage Road, which is just a formality considering that the Frenchman is eager to play Premier League football.
That is the reason why he will snub loan offers from Serie A sides Torino and Genoa in favour of signing for Watford.
AC Milan boss Vincenzo Montella yesterday confirmed M’Baye was on the way out and everything suggests the deal will be wrapped up in the coming days.
The 22-year-old has shown a great deal of potential over the last couple of years, scoring 8 goals in 34 Serie A outings for the Rossoneri.
