Watford winning race for Zaza

Watford are ready to make a loan move for Juventus striker Simone Zaza, according the Daily Star.

A host of Premier League clubs have been alerted to the availability of the twenty-four year old, who has made just three league starts so far this season, though the Hornets are leading the chase.

He has also made to brief cameo appearances in the Champions League, and scored in the 2-0 win over Sevilla back in September.

Zaza only moved to Juve in the summer, having impressed for two years at Sassuolo though he has failed to hold down a place in Massimiliano Allegri’s side with Mario Mandzukic, Alvaro Morato and Paulo Dyabla ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Serie A side travel to Sevilla on Tuesday evening having already secured qualification to the knockout stages, but can be backed at a price of 15/8 to take all three points.
