Twenty two year old England and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been declared fit to play against Newcastle United on Sunday.
Rooney allegedly picked up a virus in his clubÂ’s pre season tour of Nigeria.
The striker has had a full week of intensive training and has made very good progress.
Manchester United fans will be happy to hear the news as they are already without Cristiano Ronaldo, Owen Hargreaves, Anderson (Olympic Games), Nani (suspended) and Ji-sung Park.
