Manchester CityÂ’s executive Garry Cook issued a statement earlier in which they said that the richest club in England would be making more big signings during the next transfer window in January.
The Abu Dhabi United Group are in the process of taking over the reigns from former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Garry Cook added that the club now has the required funds to buy the best players in the world.
The player who could be targeted shortly could well be Manchester UnitedÂ’s winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
