(GSM) – Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has denied that his tactics aimed to fork out a draw against Arsenal. City held the Gunners to a goalless stalemate at the Emirates Stadium.
The point will be seen as a positive one by Mancini as his team tries to secure a fourth-spot ahead of rivals Tottenham.
But the Italian tactician says his plan was not to take a point from the game.
Mancini said, “We do not play to draw, never, but in the first half Arsenal were better than us and had more possession.
“We defended very well and were better in the second half, so the draw was the fair result.
“We have three more games and they will be crucial games, to decide the season.”
