(GSM) – Everton captain Phil Neville believes his club’s current squad does not need strengthening. Neville claims the team’s recent form shows the team is strong enough to fulfill the objectives which have been set.
The Toffees started-off the season in a dismal way, but turned their season around as their injury-list was shortened with time. They have lost just twice in the Barclays Premier League since the end of November.
They are now mounting for a place among the teams which will be playing European football next season. Everton have built momentum with victories over the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City and Neville feels that the current squad can beat anyone.
“The reality is that we can beat any team in this league with this set of players,” Neville told evertonfc.com.
“Somebody asked me the other day, ‘Who would you like to sign in the summer?’
“I told them that I’m not bothered bringing people in – I don’t think we need to sign anyone.”
