Los Angeles Galaxy striker Landon Donovan admits they have everything to play for when they face Dynamo at Robertson Stadium.
The Galaxy must win this match in order to have a chance of reaching the playoffs.
“I think we’re pretty happy with how we’re playing now, which is good. That helps. Defensively we have a pretty good idea of what we want to do, and we’re playing as a team right now,” said Landon Donovan. “It may be the most difficult opponent to play for, but they don’t have a ton to play for and we have everything to play for.”
Houston Dynamo will have to manage without Kei Kamara and Eddie Robinson for the match. And the Dynamo also had a tough game against San Jose on Wednesday.
“We’re a little lucky with Kamara and Eddie Robinson out, and they’re tired,” said Donovan. “It’s more than just the midweek game. They played for 80 minutes a man down. You do the math. That’s a lot more running for everyone. There’s a lot of positives but we still have to do the job.”
