Belgium finished the first stage of the Euros second to Romania in Group E on goal-difference, with all four teams on a tally of four points.
Having lost the opening match to Slovakia by 0-1, the Red Devils beat Romania 2-0, before playing a goalless draw against Ukraine. Their fans were extremely unhappy after the Ukraine game, and captain Kevin De Bruyne urged his players to leave the pitch as soon as possible and avoid approaching the angry crowd.
Still, the Manchester City star believes he and his teammates will need the fans’ support when they face France in the round of 16 on Monday.
Belgium fans were FURIOUS at full time, with @KevinDeBruyne urging his team mates away from the supporters 😳
“We need them. We just need the fans. We will need them against France, we needed them the last three games.” 😐
