Manchester City could be faced with a prospect of losing yet another highly talented youngster this winter, only weeks after Brahim Diaz left the club to join Real Madrid.
Welsh youngster Rabbi Matondo, who was given his first senior international cap in the 1-0 defeat to Albania last November, is said to be looking towards Bundesliga and is prepared to follow the footsteps of Jadon Sancho.
The talented winger has rejected a new deal at City as he’s hoping to get more first-team opportunities and believes Bundesliga would be the perfect place to get some.
Welsh media outlets claim that both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have shown interest in Matondo, who is also said to have received offers from Serie A and elsewhere in the Premier League.
Manchester City are believed to be desperately trying to hold on to him and tie him on a new contract. Matondo’s current deal expires after next season.
