Southampton have joined Leicester City and Ipswich Town as the teams to have earned places in the Premier League for 2024/25. In the final of the promotion play-offs, the Saints beat Leeds United by 1-0, the only goal of the game being the work of Adam Armstrong in the 24th minute.
Russell Martin and his players, as well as the Saints faithful in the stands of Wembley, were obviously ecstatic at the sound of the final whistle.
