Wenger a fan of Joe Cole

(GSM) – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is an admirer of England star Joe Cole’s talents. Cole, who is out-of-contract at the end of the month, has many options as he leaves Stamford Bridge after a 7-year-long service.

After snubbing the chance to return to West Ham United, Cole is being linked with a move to Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham manager has sounded out his interest in Cole and Wenger has followed suit by admitting that he “likes” the 28-year-old.

“I like him as a player because when he played against us he always did a lot of damage against Arsenal,” Wenger told Sky Sports News.

“He can create impact through his creative play. He can dribble, he can pass, he can score goals.”
