AC Milan are in a lot of trouble so far this season. After failing to qualify for the Champions League last season, they insisted on not playing in Europa League either, so that they could prepare their finances for the next season. Less midweek matches were expected to have a positive effect on Marco Giampaolo and his new team, but it looks like the Rosonerri manager will not be staying at the club for much longer.
And according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsene Wenger could be the manager replacing him! AC Milan started their season horribly, with two wins and four losses in opening six rounds, which sees them in 16th place in the Serie A standings. Giampaolo is under pressure after a poor start to the season and several names have been mentioned as his potential replacements. Alongside former Arsenal manager, there are also Claudio Ranieri, Luciano Spalletti and Massimiliano Allegri.
However, the latter two are less likely to come in at Milan as they are in their sabbatical years after leaving Inter and Juventus.
