Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger says the club is ‘over the moon’ with the contribution of new signing Santi Cazorla.
And it is little wonder why, with the Spanish winger scoring a goal and adding three assists in his first five games for the side.
Wenger is delighted with the impact Cazorla has made since his move from Malaga in August.
“We are all over the moon with Santi Cazorla,” Wenger said.
“We are very, very happy with him.
“He’s not only an exceptional football player, he’s an exceptional person who’s, every day, happy to play, practise and has a very good team attitude and is helpful with everybody.”
Wenger also took time to praise another recent arrival, German Lukas Podolski, who has hit the ground running in North London with three goals from his first six matches.
“He (Podolski) shows a very good attitude, he is a team player,” he said.
“He is working very hard, obviously we demand this. He adapted very fast and we are very pleased with him. We had a bit luck with our new signings and Lukas is very, very good.”
