According to Bild, Arsene Wenger is being discussed as a potential replacement for Niko Kovac as Bayern Munich manager should he be sacked in the next few weeks. Bayern have had a poor start to the season to say the least and it’s been no secret that they’ve been looking around for possible replacements.

Wenger has been out of work since leaving Arsenal earlier this year, following more than two decades with the Gunners. He stated in the past that he wants to return to management in 2019, although if this call comes in, he almost certainly wouldn’t be able to pass it up given the magnitude of the position.

Many fans are excited to see what Wenger will be able to do somewhere other than the Premier League, especially given that his run with Arsenal didn’t exactly end in the best manner.

Bayern will take on Benfica tomorrow night in something of a do or die match for Kovac.
