Arsenal to move for Spanish star

According to The Sun, Samir Nasri is not a replacement for Alexander Hleb, but Valencia’s David Silva would be. The Arsenal boss is thought to have completed the move for the tricky French winger and now he wants to bring in another one to compensate for the loss of Hleb.

“Arsene wasn’t just in Vienna to cheer on Cesc — he was there to take a good look at Silva.” Said an ‘Arsenal source’, according to The Sun

“He is a player who would fit well in the Arsenal set-up, especially if Hleb goes.”

The Spanish winger could well be on his way out of Valencia who have flirted with relegation this season. But Arsenal might face competition in their bid to get the £20 million winger. The 22 year old has given a good account of himself at Euro 2008 so far and is thought to have also attracted the interest of Rafa Benitez, according to the Daily Mail.

Let Arsenal stop talking and start doing, we fail to sign some quality player last sumer becuase of talking. Person like Torres, Anderson, Babel & others. Silva & Villa are very good i think. We need goal sence strikers.

Arsenal should dispose of Adebayour ASAP…i do not see what everyone sees in him…has anyone watched every single game last season at all…yes, he scored 30 goals, BUT how many chances did he have to score those 30 goals…??? try triple that number…he was a “stick in the wheel” when he played next to HENRY…& he’s a stick in the wheel now for Arsenal…And some soccer analysts think he’s better than Henry & Bergkamp…? he’s a joke…he cost Arsenal the season…he cannot deliver…
i say, sell him to whoever wants him & get DAVID VILLA & DAVID SILVA…put them next to FABREGAS…& you have instant magic…great chemistry between them 3…

I agree, if not David Villa, why not David Silva? Midfield must be re-inforced and with Fabregas as his wing-man………I see good chemistry between the two. World Class Player
