(GSM) – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he is not worried by Theo Walcott’s lack of form. The England international is currently on his way back to full fitness after a series of injurieslimited his appearances this season.
The former Southampton ace has been restricted to just five starts this season and has failed to show his true ability.
Wenger is not worried over Walcott’s slow progress, insisting the 20-year-old must be given more games to show his best form.
“I am not worried about Walcott,” he told the club’s official website.
“What you can’t expect from Walcott at the moment is what he cannot give you.
“He needs some time to play and come back to full fitness. He has only played a few games this season.
“If he stays injury-free now, he will have a good end of season. But at the moment he is not completely himself.”
