Arsene Wenger is set to offload at least four players as he looks to raise extra funds for new signings.
According to The Guardian, the French manager is set to get extra £5 million from the sales of Emmanuel Eboue and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
The Ivorian defender has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates and he is set to complete a £4 million move to Galatasaray.
On the other hand, Wenger doesn’t believe that 20-year-old striker Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has shown enough potential and is ready to sell him to Ipswich for just £1 million.
The boss also hopes to get rid of Manuel Almunia and Nicklas Bendtner before the start of the Premiership campaign.
Meanwhile, Cesc Fabregas is edging closer to Barcelona move, and the recent reports suggest that Wenger is hoping to take midfielder Thiago Alcantara to the Emirates as part of the Fabregas transfer.
