Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he cannot see his former striker Thierry Henry joining Manchester United from FC Barcelona.
Wenger was speaking after the speculation that the unsettled Frenchman could be on his way back to England, but this time to ArsenalÂ’s fiercest rivals Manchester United.
Henry had spent eight successful years at the Arsenal before moving to Spanish giants FC Barcelona in 2007 for ₤16 million.
Writing on the clubÂ’s website Wenger felt that if the French international were to return to England then it would be to join his former club Arsenal.
With the news that United could be signing Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham Hotspur within the next few days, this speculation may be put to bed.
