Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is believed to be keeping tabs on Bundesliga stars Marco Reus, Ilkay Gundogan and Lars Bender, Daily Mail has suggested.
The Frenchman finally delivered the marque signing as he lured Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid on transfer deadline day and it looks as though he could be joined by few more of his international teammates at the Emirates.
Daily Mail is reporting that the Gunners are keen on Marco Reus, Ilkay Gundogan and Lars Bender.
Arsene Wenger has had the three players scouted on numerous occasions and he is expected to make his interest concrete in the near future.
And while Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender appears to be a realistic target, chances are it would take a gargantuan effort to prize Reus and Gundogan away from Signal-Iduna Park.
Much will depend on Arsenal’s ability to challenge for trophies this season though, as the two players are unlikely to be keen on a switch to the Emirates unless the Gunners can show some kind of improvement this term.
