Werder Bremen are tracking Premier League strikers John Carew and Milan Baros.
The Bundesliga side are looking to strengthen their forward line in the summer in preparation for an assault on Europe and to mount a challenge to Bayern Munich for the league title.
Bremen´s sporting director Klaus Allofs told Sport Bild: “We are at the stage where we have considered players like Carew and Baros.”
