German side Werder Bremen are reportedly keen on signing Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies in the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old has impressed while on loan at Championship side Leicester City this season and has been linked with a host of clubs.
Leicester City are also reportedly keen to sign Davies permanently in a £2.5million deal.
Leicester boss Sven-Goran Eriksson said: “Curtis has not made up his mind what he wants to do but we want to keep him.
“He has Leicester as one option and doesn’t quite know what he has in the other hand. But, if a big Premier League club comes in, it will be difficult for us to compete.”
Wolves, Everton and Stoke City are also keeping tabs on Davies’ situation.
