German media outlet Bild is reporting that a host of Bundesliga clubs are hot on the trail of Werder Bremen hotshot Zlatko Junuzovic.
The 27-year-old has a contract until the end of the season at Weserstadion and has so far been unable to reach an agreement over a new deal.
And while his current employers are prepared to offer the midfielder a lucrative contract worth €2 million per campaign, other Bundesliga sides are also readying bids.
Bild has suggested that Schalke are the latest club to have joined the chase, although boss Roberto Di Matteo still has doubts over whether Junuzovic is a Champions League material.
Meanwhile, the likes of Borussia M’gladbach, Hannover, FC Koln and clubs from abroad are all keeping close tabs on the Austria international.
While scoring each of his four goals this term from direct free-kicks, Junuzovic has also produced six assists in 19 Bundesliga outings.
