Those are the words of RB Leipzig chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff who has confirmed that forward Timo Werner is happy at the club in the midst of great speculation over the forward’s future. The popular striker has been consistently linked with a move away from the Bundesliga, with many believing he’ll make the jump over to Liverpool during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Werner’s growing success over in Germany has caused many to believe that he could soon become one of the best goalscorers in world football – but in order to do so, he may need to entertain the idea of heading to the Premier League.
Either way, we won’t be getting a solution to this until at least the end of the season.
