According to a report form Bild, RB Leipzig are on the verge of offering Timo Werner a big money move to keep him at the club. The 22 year old has less than two years remaining on his current contract and, unsurprisingly, he’s been receiving a great deal of attention from clubs around Europe and beyond. The youngster is an international with Germany and while he hasn’t quite been able to live up to the hype on the big stage just yet, he’s still quite young, and the expectation is that he’ll grow into the role.
Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Real Madrid are the three primary clubs believed to be in the running to sign Werner, but they likely won’t be able to get their hands on him until at least the summer courtesy of this new deal.
Werner has been with Leipzig since 2016 when he made the jump over from Stuttgart.
