Werner set for pay cut to rejoin Leipzig?

According to a recent report from Bild, Timo Werner is more than willing to take a pay cut in order to rejoin RB Leipzig.

The belief is that he will do so if Chelsea are able to come to terms on a loan deal with the German club that helped the 26-year-old first make a name for himself.

Werner, it’s safe to say, hasn’t quite been able to hit the ground running in the way many would’ve expected since arriving at Stamford Bridge. He’s had some nice moments and he does tend to show up in big games pretty often, but his job is to stick the ball in the back of the net – and he’s been seriously lacking consistency in that department for quite some time.

A parade of clubs are said to be interested in helping him turn his fortunes around but Leipzig, as we know, is a familiar spot for him.
