West Bromwich Albion need just one more point to mathematically confirm their Premier League safety. The Baggies are 17th in the league table, three points ahead of 18th-placed Norwich City. But for the Canaries to overtake them and stay in the division, they need to overturn a 17-goal deficit on the Midlands side too.

They’re unlikely to get a favour from West Brom’s opponents Stoke City too as the formbook goes against them of late. Pepe Mel’s side are tough to beat at home, losing just once at the Hawthorns in 2014. Stoke City are woeful on their travels, with Mark Hughes’ men have only won one away game since August.

Stoke still want to finish in the top-half of the table so they will need all three points this afternoon. The two sides played out a 0-0 draw in their earlier meeting this season, but could struggle away to the Baggies.
