West Brom 31/20 to beat Millwall in Saturday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: West Brom win

Odds: 31/20 @ Bet 365

Enjoying quite the resurge at the back end of the season, West Brom will travel to relegation scrappers Millwall on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with a struggling Millwall side, suffering more late heartbreak and leaving Leeds on the wrong end of a 3-2 defeat last weekend, the Lions still remain firmly at the heart of a relegation battle. With Neil Harris’ side holding just a one-point buffer over the drop zone and with the chance of ending the weekend in the bottom three, fans in South London will be growing more concerned by their defensive issues. Now losing six of their last seven and crashing out of the FA Cup last month, Harris’ side have recorded just one clean sheet since the middle of February. It is also worth noting that Saturday’s hosts have now lost their last three matches at The Den and have not recorded a Championship victory at home in 2019.

As for the visitors, really starting to excel in the post-Darren Moore era, few would have expected West Brom’s rise at the back end of the season. Looking to close that six-point gap and chase down the automatic positions, the Baggies are enjoying a three-match winning run and their confidence will be high after putting three past Midlands rivals Birmingham last weekend. With a playoff position all but confirmed, it has been their form on the road really starting to catch the eye. West Brom have won four of their last five matches away from the Hawthorns and have lost just one away matchup since New Year’s Day.
